Our Team


Ian P. Alberg


Mr. Alberg brings an in-depth understanding of government actions and their legal, regulatory and legislative impact on the business community. Mr. Alberg was a Senior Consultant with the Bingham Consulting Group and Of Counsel at the law firm of Bingham McCutchen. As a member of the Bingham Consulting Group, Mr. Alberg assisted major Fortune 500 companies in their dealings with Governors, Attorneys General and State Legislatures. Mr. Alberg also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia, where he supervised and tried numerous criminal cases. Prior to his appointment as a federal prosecutor, Mr. Alberg served in the Clinton White House. Specifically, as a senior domestic policy advisor to Vice President Al Gore, he worked on a variety of criminal justice issues and coordinated development of nationwide policy initiatives. Before joining the White House, Mr. Alberg was Acting Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the United States Department of Justice. As such, he was responsible for policy development and relationship management with state and local elected officials. Mr. Alberg has also served in senior communications, policy and logistics positions in six presidential campaigns. Mr. Alberg graduated from the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. from the College of William and Mary.  He resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and daughter.

Nicholas S. Pullen


Having worked in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Pullen has a sophisticated understanding of the intersection among governmental action, politics and the law. Mr. Pullen has worked for Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell as Chief Counsel and Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. In this capacity, Mr. Pullen coordinated legal, policy and legislative affairs for the primary criminal justice policy agency in Pennsylvania. Mr. Pullen has also advised or managed several political campaigns, including Jim Eisenhower for Pennsylvania Attorney General. Most recently, Mr. Pullen served as Director of Governmental Affairs at Schiffrin Barroway Topaz & Kessler, LLP, the second largest class action law firm in the country. In this capacity, Mr. Pullen was responsible for all governmental relationships on behalf of the firm, and he worked closely with large institutional investors, including state, local and Taft-Hartley pension funds. Mr. Pullen also worked for two prominent Philadelphia law firms, Morgan Lewis, LLP and Fox Rothschild, LLP, where he served as a corporate litigator, specializing in white collar criminal defense. Mr. Pullen received his J.D., with honors, from the Georgetown University Law Center, and his B.A. in History, with high honors, from the University of Delaware. He resides in the Philadelphia metropolitan area with his wife and daughter.
